The Experiences of Newly Graduated Nurses during Their First Year of Practice

The present study aimed to explore the experiences of newly graduated nurses during their first year practise. A qualitative descriptive design was employed in this study. In-depth, semi-structured interviews were conducted with gather detailed descriptions and transition workplace after graduation. Thematic analysis utilised identify patterns themes collected data. Ethical considerations strictly enforced throughout There are two main themes: factors contributing integration new into difficulties faced by a work environment. Within theme, three subthemes emerged: positive role trainers, gradual handling patients, benefit pre-employment training volunteering. theme included subthemes: difficulty dealing health system devices, fear applying policies procedures workplace. provides insights challenges that contribute practise settings. Educational departments hospitals’ support efficient access crucial for these as they begin early professional years.
